Badgers disappionting football season ends in bowl loss

Tennessee 21, Wisconsin 17

Several plays late in the game went against Wisconsin. The fumble by Tennessee was clearly fumbled, and it looked to me like he got his foot, need only one, inbounds. The first down with 46 seconds left was a terrible play, it did not appear to be a first down, and when called a first down the clock should have stopped. There went 10 seconds. Dispite these plays, the game was well within grasp. However, many poor decisions were made to but the blame back on the Badgers. On 4th and 2 from about the Vols 25, Bielima decides that a QB bookleg should be run. Now, I wouldn't have minded a FG or a run play, or even a high percentage pass play, but a QB rollout. Come on. Tyler Donovan has become too reliant on his legs. I praise him for the beating he took, and the toughness he showed, but some of those hits are just plain stupid to take. It is important to dive for a TD or a 1st down, but meaningless to try to do the same when going after a measly yard. This puts him at risk for injury and the potential to fumble the football.
